Ten Thousand Villages in Kitchen Kettle, PA, is nestled in the heart of Lancaster’s tourist destination and the county where Ten Thousand Villages began in 1946.  

We’re a nonprofit shop redefining retail for good with artisan-made home decor, personal accessories, jewelry, and gifts handcrafted by makers in under-resourced communities around the world.  

Ten Thousand Villages partners with artisans to bring their handcrafted goods and stories to our community. Featuring sustainably made goods from more than 65 artisan enterprises, impacting 20,000 makers and their families from 20+ countries. We are part of a network of 1,000+ retail shops across the United States and Canada.
