Are you Wearing the Right Pair?
Tips on the right earring shape for you.
One of the best things about being a woman is that we are all delightfully different. Some of us are short, some tall. Hair comes in soft waves, tight curls, pin-straight locks, and everything in between. We are all beautiful in our own unique way and want to be the best version of ourselves, inside and out.
When we know that what we are wearing works well with our body shape and makes us feel comfortable in our own skin, being confident and bold becomes effortless. It’s easy to understand why many of us spend so much time choosing the perfect outfit in the morning. We want to leave the house and meet the world looking and feeling our best. Since our faces are the first part of us that most people notice, why not put as much consideration into our earrings as we do the cut of our dress or color of our shoes? Earrings are a fun, easy way to compliment your unique beauty and bring variety to your wardrobe.
For The Round-Faced Gals.
If your face is round, the goal is to choose an earring shape that will make your face look a bit longer.
TRY: A pair that is long and linear, fringed or geometric.
AVOID: Earrings that are short, circular or chunky.
Heart-shaped Heroine.
If your face is wider at the brow and narrow at the chin, play up your cheekbones and counter balance the taper by filling the empty space.
TRY: A pair that is bottom-heavy like chandelier or tear drop.
AVOID: Top-heavy earrings or inverted triangles.
It’s Hip to be Square.
When your cheeks, jaws, and forehead are the same width, and you have a strong, angular jaw-line, you may want to choose earrings that soften the edges a bit.
TRY: A medium length pair with rounded edges or ovals.
AVOID: Wide and chunky earrings or squares.
For the Long and Lean Ladies.
If your face is long and narrow, you may be looking for ways to make it seem a bit wider.
TRY: Studs, clusters, or short dangles.
AVOID: Long, linear earrings.
Easy-going Oval.
Oval is the most common face type, and the most flexible in terms of earring shape. Feel free to experiment with many shapes and styles!
TRY: Anything from a classic stud to a bold statement pair. Be creative!
AVOID: Oval shaped earrings.
Everybody’s face is delightfully different, and embracing your one-of-a-kind beauty is what accessorizing is all about! Whether you want to bring out your cheekbones, soften your edges, or even just dare to be different, earrings are a great way to go.
