This is such a cute trivet, and it is very functional too! I purchased these so as to have a nice-sized base upon which to put my meals, so that my wood table doesn’t get any stains or scuffs. I love that this trivet is lightweight enough to reach for and use easily. Plus, it has 3 soft circle pads on the back, so I don’t have to worry about it scratching up my table if it moves around. Perfect size for my dishes (I’d say it’s a bit bigger than my hand, see photos for reference). I love the burnishing details on the edges of the outlines within the trivet, as well as the “rake” style markings inside, which make this look so cute and charming. I got this as an alternative to subpar Amazon wood trivets that are mass-produced but made to look handmade (and always end up having that cringey artificial look). It is nice to have a genuinely handmade item where the effort and skill of the maker are so clearly reflected in the lovely final product. You can see the work that the maker put into it, and as such, it brings real joy to use it and even just to look at it. I purchased the matching Lotus coasters, which are so perfect and adorable. I would recommend getting both!
