I purchased this several years ago. It is one of my absolute favorite purchases I've ever made. It doesn't only get displayed at Christmastime, I have it up on my fireplace mantle year round. I am considering purchasing another as a Christmas gift for a family member I love mine so much!

This year, I really wanted to add a nativity scene to my Christmas decor. I didn't have a lot of money or space, and I wanted something meaningful that I could pass down to my own child someday. This was an absolutely perfect choice for us. The origin and the story of the artisans embody the spirit of the season, and it makes an impact without encroaching on our small space. It's well constructed and sturdy enough that I am comfortable letting my 5 year old handle it (supervised!). I hope to add more pieces from Ten Thousand Villages as our home and family grows.
